An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Account Manager to join a producer and distributor of speciality foods, working with artisan food producers across the globe. You will be responsible for field sales in the Dorset region, maintaining and building business in your designated customer portfolio, identifying and targeting a list of existing and potential customers to increase market penetration.

You will be required to plan and manage customer orders into production, warehouse and distribution; respond to customer issues; develop a marketing strategy, keep abreast of market developments and new ideas and bring through new products with commercial development relevant to market needs.
The ideal candidate for the role will have a passion for food, be commercially minded, confident and capable of working alone. The successful candidate may have sales experience but equally experience of being a chef or working in the food industry is highly desirable.
