We have an exciting opportunity for a videographer to join MSV’s media and communications team. Based at Brands Hatch, the role will involve producing a wide variety of video-led digital content to support social media, PR, and marketing output across a range of business areas.

This will involve various activities across our five UK race circuits, occasional overseas projects, and supporting MotorSport Vision Racing’s championships and series, including GB3, GB4 and the British Superbike Championship. There will also be opportunities to contribute to other areas of the business, including our PalmerSport corporate hospitality driving event at Bedford Autodrome.

The role:

Working within the media and communications department, the Motorsport Videographer will film and edit video content to promote many areas of the business. The successful candidate will take an active role in shaping MSV's digital output, creating materials to be published on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok in addition to MSV circuit websites and television advertisements.

Reporting to the Media and Communications Manager, the Motorsport Videographer will also work with other senior managers and a variety of internal teams, including graphic design, marketing and IT. You will join a small, hard-working media team, whose members must be adaptable, flexible and proactive. The job will involve attending major race meetings, track days and other events at Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and Bedford Autodrome, with potential for occasional European travel.

Equipment will be provided, including a computer with editing software, drone and DSLR cameras, lenses and ancillaries. The successful candidate is welcome to supplement this with their own kit, but this isn’t compulsory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality video content for publication across MSV's digital channels, including Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and circuit websites
  • Capture video content at race meetings, track days, driving experiences and corporate events across MSV's venues
  • Film and edit promotional, editorial and behind-the-scenes content that showcases MSV's circuits, championships and guest experiences
  • Create engaging short-form video content optimised for social media platforms, helping to maximise reach, engagement and audience growth
  • Produce longer-form features, event highlights, interviews and promotional films for YouTube and other digital platforms
  • Capture interviews with drivers, riders, teams, customers, instructors and senior stakeholders to enhance digital content
  • Edit video content to a consistently high standard, incorporating graphics, music, captions and branding in line with MSV guidelines while respecting all legal licensing requirements
  • Collate and organise video assets to ensure footage is archived and readily accessible for future use
  • Support live event coverage by capturing content for rapid turnaround during race weekends and major events
  • Maintain camera, audio and production equipment, ensuring it is event-ready and fit for purpose

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • Experience of creating and editing automotive / motorsport content with professional software
  • Handheld film camera operation skills. Previous experience with drone filming is useful, but not essential
  • Knowledge of modern video orientated social media platforms including YouTube and TikTok
  • Enthusiasm and knowledge of motorsport in the UK
  • Minimum A level standard of education (or equivalent)
  • Good organisational skills and time management

In return MSV offers:

  • Up to 31 days’ holiday (including Bank Holidays)
  • A workplace pension
  • Training opportunities
  • Access to our MSV Hub, giving you access to discounts at hundreds of retailers across the UK
  • Access to 24/7 wellbeing services
  • A staff pass allowing access for yourself and a guest to events at all MSV circuits
  • Discounted food and drink when working on site
  • Free parking

This role would be ideal for a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their digital media career with a strong interest in motorsport, passion for producing exciting content, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Due to the location of the sites you will be working at, a driving licence and your own transport is essential to be successful in the role.
