We are looking to recruit a Hospitality Managing Director, who will lead and inspire all those in our Hospitality businesses – including The Goodwood Hotel, The Kennels, Golf at Goodwood, our exclusive private members club, Hound Lodge (our 10-bedroom luxury retreat), Goodwood House, Motor Circuit Catering and our on-event hospitality outlets.

You will be joining Goodwood at an exciting time.  We are about to commit to a meaningful investment in our hotel as part of a major master planning exercise and continue the development of our growing luxury holiday cottage business.  Alongside this, you will lead a team of inspirational chefs, who are focussed on using natural Estate produce from our successful organic Farm to deliver a range of creative, thoughtful dishes and support our successful and rewarding apprenticeship chef programme.

In addition, you will support the continued development of our golf business.  As part of this you will take on our two golf courses, highly successful credit membership model, incredible new short game / Par 3 course and drive the business plans for our new home of golf.

You will join and be an integral part of our operational Board (the Goodwood Leadership Team) and, as such, work closely with the Events team (Hospitality is a vital part of our world-leading motorsport and horse racing events) and our Customer Experience Director – with whom you will craft exceptional, personal, and beautifully unique experiences for our guests, every day.  All the senior team will support you as you come into the Group and really help you lead your business successfully: you will be part of a team that are incentivised to deliver for Goodwood so you will naturally want to see the whole Estate flourish.

You will have a naturally creative customer mindset and be responsible for creating, managing, and implementing an integrated hospitality strategy, ensuring all customer touch points are fresh, impactful, and engaging, to achieve commercial targets in a dynamic way.
