Salary £30,000-35,000pa (negotiable) + ACCA / CIMA study support

Award winning global business, that is an industry leader in their field, is currently seeking a commercially astute and analytically skilled individual to join them as a Financial Analyst. Reporting to a qualified FP&A Manager, this individual will be heavily involved in pivotal analysis work and business partnering, essential to the commercial success of the business.

Overview of duties:

• Work with Finance Business Partners to understand commercial background and financial impact, ensuring accuracy of forecasts.
• Assist in preparation of Business Sector and Corporate Finance reporting and communication material.
• Monitor and routinely communicate financial/operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, through ownership of FA dashboard and volume & mix analysis.
• Assist the annual budgeting and planning processes, including development of the annual planning calendar
• Complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial submissions to the Office for National Statistics.
• Continual process improvement.

Candidate requirements:

• Ideally Part Qualified level – ACCA / CIMA.
• Motivated, pro-active individual who will fully apply themselves to this new role and who is keen to prove their abilities.
• Good ERP system experience (examples Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Sage 200 etc).
• Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills.
• Relevant experience in a Financial Analyst, Finance Business Partner related position.
