Are you a problem solver with advanced Microsoft Excel skills looking to join a supportive and friendly team, with opportunities for career progression? If so we'd love to hear from you. 

The ideal person will love data and won’t mind being head down in spreadsheets for long periods of time. You'll need meticulous attention to detail.   Ideally we are looking for someone with a data qualification and experience in a similar post, but this role would also suit someone with a very good knowledge of Excel and a keenness to develop their skills and experience further.

You will be responsible for inputting, reporting and analysing data to meet customer and internal management needs; working in the Data team, reporting to Operations Manager. 

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • be highly competent in Excel and working at an advanced level, including using:
    • Filters & Sort
    • Freezing Panes
    • Conditional Formatting
    • Find & Replace
    • Format Painter
    • Text to columns
    • Using Macro’s
    • Colour Coding (Styles)
    • Using a Template Accurately (Exporting data from bespoke database and making it fit the template)
    • Formulas in Formula Library (Concat, Split, Trim, Proper, If, Sum, VLookup, Autosum)
  • demonstrate an organised and structured approach with attention to accuracy
  • have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • be a practical thinker with the ability to research and investigate
  • be quick and willing to learn
  • accept responsibility
  • have good interpersonal and communication skills that enables you to work well in a team as well as being able to explain complex data
