The Festival of Speed is motorsport's ultimate summer garden party, an intoxicating celebration of the world's most glamorous sport. Nowhere else can you get so close to the greatest collection of cars and bikes as they blast up the Hillclimb track; nowhere else can you enjoy such unrestricted access to the machines and the drivers who made them famous.

Our Motorsports Marketing team are the lucky few that get to work on the varied and fresh-thinking concepts that market our famous Goodwood Motorsport events, of which the Festival of Speed and Revival are the jewels in the crown.

To complement our brilliant team, we are looking for a passionate, creative and commercial marketer to step into the exciting role of Marketing Manager for the Festival of Speed and Breakfast Club.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be at the very heart of our Motorsport business, taking full responsibility for protecting and building the Festival of Speed brand. You will act as brand guardian – ensuring touchpoint consistency and creative excellence, as well as being commercially minded – planning and implementing marketing activity that fuels growth. In addition to this, you will take responsibility for continuing the growth journey of our Breakfast Club proposition – further leveraging this unique event and developing the role it plays in the motorsport event portfolio.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven success in leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies from insights delivery through to activity recommendation
  • Excellent ability to build cross-functional relationships and work with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in briefing creative teams to produce high quality work across all marketing mix formats
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and ability to seamlessly integrate this with non-digital formats
  • Ability to translate customer insights into actionable plans and be the voice of the customer to the rest of the business
  • Commercial rigour and focus, managing budgeted activity closely to deliver robust ROI tracking
  • It would be an advantage, but not essential, to have B2B marketing experience and/or experience working in sports or events sponsorship
  • A passion for marketing and motorsport, a team player with a sense of fun!

We offer a superb range of benefits including event tickets, gym membership, a health cash plan, and the opportunity to earn up to an extra months salary per year under our bonus scheme.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, then please get in touch.
