The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Portsmouth is a dynamic working environment, with a wide range of teaching, research and innovation activities across many subject areas

The post holder’s role is to help the Faculty increase its level of research and innovation (applied research and commercial activities) through targeted support of key individuals, projects and initiatives.  Candidates will be able to combine an understanding of academic and business environments to actively promote the Faculty’s expertise to external organisations. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is an understanding of the range of funding opportunities available to support research and innovation, enterprise, applied research and knowledge services activities.  Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience of supporting and drafting successful applications for external funding.  Applicants with an understanding of the creative industries are particularly encouraged.
