The Department of Employability is seeking to recruit an Information Assistant to work on the Enquiry Desk in Purple Door and be the first point of contact for students, graduates, employers and academic staff. This is a student facing, customer service role with some administrative responsibilities. 

The post holder will work as part of the Information Team, who provide information, advice and support for students and graduates, who are interested in their career options, graduate jobs, self-employment, volunteering, part-time jobs or further learning opportunities.

Successful applicants will have excellent administrative and customer service skills and experience of working with individuals in a busy environment, plus a genuine interest in helping students and graduates as they face the challenges and demands of preparing for the labour market.

Working hours are Monday and Tuesday 08:15-16:00, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:15-16:15 with a 30 minute lunch break each day.
