Then this could be the opportunity for you:

Based in the Town Hall, you will provide an effective debt recovery service in order to achieve resolution and payment of outstanding debt. You will be expected to manage the assigned caseload and pro-actively seek settlement of the outstanding debt utilising your excellent negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.

You must be able to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurately spoken English.

You must have knowledge and experience of debt recovery processes and have the ability to meet targets.

Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with your ability to demonstrate understanding when dealing with vulnerable customers, will enable you to play a key role in ensuring the delivery of an effective service in this small but busy Council.
