The Faculty of Science has a vacancy for a full-time Specialist Technician within the Department of Psychology.  The principal responsibility of the post is to provide high quality technical support for student activities, research and innovation using specialist knowledge in multiple programming languages.     

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming experiments and proactively maintaining up to date knowledge of new programming languages, systems and applications providing training and support to colleagues and students from the Department.  They will be a team player with the ability to use their own initiative.  Professionalism, the ability to maintain high standards and implement new procedures and a commitment to providing the highest quality of service to staff and students is essential.
