Driver Developer - Wimborne - £55-70k

As an experienced driver developer you will be joining our prestigous clients skilled engineering team. You will be a key player delivering character device drivers for projects built around high-speed FPGA based packet capture and processing bespoke hardware.

Main Duties:
- Develop and deliver device drivers to fulfil a defined set of requirements
- Work alongside hardware development teams
- Champion best practices in software engineering

Key Skills & Experience:
- Essential
o Minimum 5-8 years commercial C/C++ development experience
o LinuxDevice driver development experience (we will consider application with significant driver experience on alternate platforms)
o Full life-cycle exposure
o Linux/Unix development
o Experience working with coding standards and guidance
- Desirable
o Network Interface Card driver development experience
o BSD driver development experience
o Windows driver development experience
