ER Specialist - Poole - Competitive salary & benefits - 12 month FTC

Bond Williams are delighted to be working with a leading highly innovative organisation who have a recognisable presence across most of the UK. Due to maternity leave there is a requirement for an experienced ER Specialist to join a talented HR team in Poole for a twelve month fixed term contract.

Main responsibilities:-
·The ER specialist will work with one or more businesses within a geographic area, Business Heads, individual managers and employees when necessary
·Remote Case Management of Disciplinaries, Grievances, Absence Management and Capability.
·Act as support in Redundancy and Merger and Acquisition Projects.
·Provide telephony advice on process, policy and procedure to a designated group of Employees and Line Managers.
·ER & Change Lead, Business Managers, HR Business Partners, ER specialists, HR Change Consultants.
·Leads and/or supports the implementation of Business specific and UK wide HR change activities e.g. Restructuring, standardisation initiatives. Contributes in the scoping and definition of such activities
·Manages an operational case load of high-risk cases e.g. dismissal meetings, ET cases. Ensure that all issues are resolved complying with UK legislation and in accordance with the companies policies and procedures.
·Leads and/or supports regular HR and Business activities such as Annual Pay reviews.
·As part of delivering change activities, provides advice and guidance to business managers on the range of HR professional areas e.g. Employee engagement; high performance organisation
·Maintains strong relationships with HR Business Partners whilst delivering change activity. Supports the HR Business Partners with trade union activity and employee consultative obligations.

What skills and experience do I need to qualify for this role?
·Chartered membership of the CIPD.
·Experience of Employee Relations,HR Systems & processes, SAP HR ideally, implementing HR change and managing medium scale HR projects
·Understanding of HR processes and strategy, with the ability to identify opportunity for change, ensuring value add to the business

As the ideal candidate you will be available to start no later than October. You will be working in a vibrant and experienced ER team and you need to demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to juggle a busy workload.
