ER Lead - c£30k - Permanent - Poole
My client has been established for over 16 years and has grown to be a formidable force in their specialised industry sector. Due to a member of the HR team progressing to a new post, there is now an opportunity for an ER Lead to join the successful HR division. You will be a proven HR generalist who can provide a professional and consistent level of HR support within the business.
Key duties will include :-
• Contribute to company wide HR initiatives and implement them locally
• Work with line management to ensure they are equipped to implement policies and procedures and lead their teams effectively by, amongst other things, providing practical tools, support, advice & coaching. Develop line manager guides and workshops on key HR areas of people management e.g. disciplinary, grievance, capability etc
• Provide advice and support to line managers regarding HR or ER matters, specifically D&G procedures, escalating to Head of HR where applicable/necessary. Advising own customer group(s) and supporting HR Advisors to provide relevant advice to their customer groups.
• Ensure maintenance of employees files & HR system, ensure they are correct, up to date and information is easily accessible at all times
• Proactively monitor sickness levels and enable HR support to line managers in ensuring adherence to process and improvements to absence levels
• Proactively monitor attrition levels and support line managers to understand and reduce this
• Ensure accurate monthly payroll data provided in a timely and effective manner
• Ad hoc HR tasks and projects which falls within the remit of this role e.g. general communications
