Paraplanner- Salary of £30,000- £35,000- Poole

Our client a Wealth Management company based in Poole are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their existing and growing team. You will be required to deliver high quality paraplanning support to advisers, clients and prospects. Previous paraplanning experience is essential for this role.

Duties:

·To liaise with advisers, product providers, clients and prospects by telephone, letter and email on administration and technical matters.
·Attend weekly case owner meetings to discuss and review new business opportunities with adviser
·Discuss clients objectives with adviser in order to prepare information/reports/comparisons for analysis by adviser
·Review quality of advice proposed by adviser and refer to Compliance Department any issues regarding suitability
·Complete tax computations including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax using appropriate tools
·To liaise with clients legal and tax advisers when required
·Complete client risk profiling analysis and scoring
·Carry out provider and product research using appropriate online research tools
·Obtain client personal illustrations, key features documents, application/proposal forms etc from providers and pre completed as necessary
·Produce quality suitability reports and associated document enclosures, in preparation for client meetings in line with Company standards

Experience Required:
·Diploma in Financial Planning and actively working towards Chartered or Certified status
·Excellent understanding of Financial Services products and legislation
·Minimum of five years' experience of working within an IFA environment
