Bond Williams Accounting & Finance are recruiting a qualified Management Accountant for a manufacturing business based in Poole.
This is a new position reporting to the Financial Controller and working as part of a small team. You will have responsibility for preparation of monthly management and consolidated accounts for review, overhead analysis, cost centre reporting, margin analysis, inventory valuations and stocktakes, VAT returns, cash flow reporting and monitor and control fixed assets, petty cash (sterling and foreign currency). In addition, you would also work on a project to update and improve reporting on the company's ERP system and maintain involvement with continuous improvement. Product costing and review of standard costs annually would also be an important aspect of this role.
You will need to be fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA) with good general finance experience gained within a manufacturing environment. In addition, experience of standard costing, product costing and inventory valuations would also be essential. You will also need to be able to develop and maintain strong relationships, have good commercial aptitude, be a self-starter and have strong IT skills, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage. Good working environment is offered and benefits.
