Urgent Stores person Required

Our client are currently recruiting for a Stores person to start ASAP assist with all Stores/Despatch duties

The responsibilities are as follows:

 Receiving deliveries from suppliers and booking these onto the computer system

 Picking of parts for shop floor) and making computer records of these actions
 Counting of stock on a regular basis
 General stores duties
 Creating Repair Orders for Engineers Returns and Despatching to various Repair Centres
 Checking and booking in of repaired items
 Ensuring all despatch items are sent out on time and with the correct paperwork
 To continually improve the stores function and other related working processes
 Supporting other departments as required

The role will require the following experience and skills:

 Some stores experience would be an advantage
 Accurate numerate and organised
 Experience of basic computer skills
 Able to work overtime when required
 Physically fit as the position involves some heavy lifting
 Driver's licence an advantage
 Fork lift truck licence would be an advantage
 Knowledge of a despatch department
 Support/lead general process improvement activities
