Our client based in Poole, Dorset are recruiting a Supply Chain Specialist to join this large and successful company. As the Supply Chain Specialist you will manage and own the order fulfilment process for part of the business. You will develop and use your supply chain management strategies and practices to ensure on-time, on-quantity and on-quality customer delivery of products and services. You will build relationships with departments and throughout the supply chain, in order to execute timely customer communication. Responsibilities include project manage late orders, assist with sales forecasting, seek/identify and recommend improvements, reporting and supporting in any projects and customer visits to impact any retention, penetration and acquisitions initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess and understand the impact of any actions on the customer requirements and react in the correct manner, be a problem solver, pay attention to detail and a relationship builder. In addition you will be assertive and able to hit the ground running. The role will require some travel to neighbouring offices in North Dorset.
