Our Client based in Poole, Dorset are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to work within the Construction and Refit Office (CRO) on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a broad range of product types which offers huge variety, significant responsibility and development prospects.
As the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:
•Evaluating customers' needs
•Creating and managing contract budgets
•Leading and supporting contract management from tender through to closure
•Managing tenders i.e. preparation, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ), invite to tender (ITT), tender evaluation, negotiation and contract award
•Developing strategies
•Monitor and manage supplier performance
•Undertake commercial audits
•Preparing and delivering reports and forecasts against budget plans and performance targets
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of high value commercial project management from PQQ, ITT, and Negotiation and contract award through to exit strategies. You need to be a confident communicator and negotiator with the ability to engage with suppliers and key stakeholders across the organisation. An MCIPS qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
