Our Client in Poole, Dorset are recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist with a scientific degree to join this large and highly successful pharmaceutical business. Working in the customer services team you will be responsible for supporting both internal and external customers by providing technical advice on Protein expression and Purification and Primary Cell Culture.

Your main duties will include:

• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Provide technical support to customers on the phone
• To accurately log, and manage technical quality complaints
• Help troubleshoot customer issues
• Assist customers with the development of experimental work
• Recommend products suitable to support customers work
• To work professionally as part of a local, and several international teams to support the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc and PhD in Biology, Immunology or Biochemistry. It is essential you have laboratory research experience within protein expression and purification. Excellent customer service skills will be a clear advantage but not essential as training will be given.
