Our client based in Poole, Dorset are recruiting a Production Shift Manager to join this highly successful food manufacturing company. As the Production Shift Manager reporting to the Factory Manager you will lead a small team of team leaders and production operatives. This is a fantastic role for a Shift Manager to take the lead and ensure utilisation of operational staff. Your key tasks will be to promote a safe working environment, ensure quality and customer satisfaction, delivery of results, cost management and development of your people. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with the ability to promote continuous improvements whilst setting the agenda. The ideal candidate for the role will have experience within FMCG production environment and management of cross functional teams. Knowledge of food safety legislation, experience of working in an environment where health and safety is paramount, Excellent IT knowledge and experience of using systems within a manufacturing environment is essential. It is also desirable you are educated to degree level, ideally in a food science/food microbiology. You will be required to work up to 39 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am). This will include some weekend work. In return the company offer superb benefits.
