Our client based in Poole, Dorset are looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Project Co-ordinator will be required to undertake the project co-ordination and administration for an exciting and worthy project working for this high profile growing organissatino in Poole.
The ideal candidate for the role will have previous experience of coordinating projects, excellent communication skills and confident liaising at a senior level, be highly organised and be able to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the programme including co-ordinating problem solving events, organising meetings with internal and external people, assist in the everyday administration within the Project Team. You will ensure clear reporting of the actual status versus the plan, including accurate performance data and KPIs. Your role will take ownership, in updating the high level plan for the Supply Chain work stream on Microsoft Project, to manage the SCM work-stream project action logs as directed and to support the development and implement new processes to ensure the project is delivered on time. In addition you will report on variances to target and changes to project plan to stakeholders by implementing a tracking system of changes requested and greed this will contribute towards an effective working environment. Strong knowledge of using MS Project and Excel are essential and it would be an advantageous to have experience of Project Server.
