Our client, a well established and market leading global manufacturer currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chief Accountant to join them in a new role within their finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and with responsibility for four members of staff, you will take responsibility for the costing system and all general ledger matters. This will include overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of all coding and posting, and all of the higher end sales and purchase ledger duties from an accounting perspective once the ledger has been closed, providing a timely and accurate set of figures to the Financial Controller by deadline.
With experience in a similar role essential, ideally you will be a qualified Accountant with a background within manufacturing and a working knowledge of standard costing.
